Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Solid Circular Base (Rounds 1-3)
Make a Magic Ring with your 4.0mm hook.
Round 1: Ch 1 (does not count as st), work 8 hdc into the ring. Pull tail tight. Join with sl st to 1st hdc. (8 sts).
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 hdc in each st around. Sl st to join. (16 sts).

Step 2: Straight Side Walls (Rounds 4-14)
Round 4 (Corner Transition): Ch 1, working in Back Loop Only (BLO), 1 sc in each of the 24 sts around. Sl st to join. (24 sc).
Rounds 5 - 14: Ch 1, working in both loops, 1 hdc in each st around. Sl st to join each round. (24 hdc per round).
Continue until the cylindrical sleeve measures approx 3.75 inches tall.
Step 3: Top Rim Lock & Fastening Off
Round 15: Ch 1, slip stitch loosely into each of the 24 sts around.
Fasten off leaving a 5-inch tail.
Weave in all tails securely on the inside of the sleeve with your tapestry needle.
